Activity : Vianney Day Celebrations

    Vianney Day at Morning Star Seminary The Feast of St. John Mary Vianney was celebrated on 3rd of August at Morning Star Seminary. The Priests, Brothers and Sisters, residing inside the seminary made the feast more meaningful and colourful. The holy Eucharistic celebration began at 6.30 PM in the evening. The main celebrant was Rev. Fr. Anthony Paul, the new parish priest of St. Joseph’s Church, Barrackpore who enlightened and inspired the community through the breaking of the word of God very effectively. Soon after the mass, there was a short gathering at the auditorium to felicitate all the fathers on the occasion of this great feast. The brothers of Hindi Academy welcomed all the fathers to the auditorium from the entrance gate of the seminary through their traditional dance and song. Bro. Francis Xavier Lepcha, the house beadle of the seminary led this small gathering. On this occasion, Bro. Arun Raj, the Student of Second Year Theology briefly highlighted the life of St. John Mary Vianney, the Patron of all parish priests. Thus, this small program came to an end with the felicitation song by MSC Band, felicitating all the fathers present there, followed by sumptuous fellowship meal.
